About Dubai Creek Striders
The running club behind one of Dubai's longest-standing and most community-driven half marathons.
Dubai Creek Striders was founded in 1995 and has grown into a running community of 800+ members from more than 60 nationalities. The club's biggest public expression is the annual Half Marathon and 10K, a race that has become a familiar part of Dubai's endurance calendar.
What began as a small grassroots club became the foundation for a race known for consistency, volunteer energy, and a welcoming atmosphere. The people behind DCS have helped shape a race that feels local, established, and genuinely runner-focused.
