There is something magical about running; after a certain distance, it transcends the body. Then a bit further, it transcends the mind. A bit further yet, and what you have before you, laid bare, is the soul.”

I run because if I didn’t, I’d be sluggish and glum and spend too much time on the couch. I run to breathe the fresh air. I run to explore. I run to escape the ordinary. I run…to savor the trip along the way. Life becomes a little more vibrant, a little more intense. I like that.”

Finished off my at least one marathon a year target today. A sort of tribute to the cancelled Dubai Marathon 2021. Ideal weather conditions - 17-18 degrees C and 50-55% RH enabled a PB of 3:25:46. Do not take pain killers.. RICE (Rest, Ice, Compress, Elevate) helps most of the time.. it should go off in a couple of days .. if pain continues after a week or 2, visit a doc..

All the suggestions unless they come from orthopaedic doctors are just assumptions. You can try RICE to lower down the pain but it's always good to check real quick with your doctor. That area has many different possible issues associated with.

Cooling with ice pack max 10 min and then waiting some hours and repeated ... Cool pack not directly on your skin ! Don't run this week and relax . Also don't stretch this part . Light massage is okay .

Is there edema ? Swelling? Is it just macular pain ? When does it hurt exactly All answers depends on these questions

There are two types of pain. Good pain and bad pain. The good pain is typically muscle soreness which is very normal if you have it after your strong effort . The bad pain which you should be able to differentiate from the good pain could be lots of things ( ligaments, joints , inflammations etc) if it doesn’t go away after a few days for rest then go see a specialised doctor.

Rest and ice

Rest and ice for 3 days, and see if pain eases. it might be tendon or menicus minor injury.

Do RICE, Rest, ice, compression, elevation for 7 days. If the discomfort reduces after 4 days, thank God and resume normalcy after 7 days. Otherwise visit a good sports orthopaedic doctor 7 days later.

Why take any Chances, go get it check by a professional

I used to get a sharp pain in one of my calves when I ran or trained a lot. I would wake up in the middle of the night bcs the cramps were so intense! It left me twisting and writhing in pain. What helped me is taking magnesium supplements every day, after that I never really experienced it again!

Thank you so much guys for your advise, i really appreciate that, it was just normal thing i m feeling muxh better now no serious injury or something happen. Its 2nd day after marathon and i my legs feeling good now😊🤩
