This Dubai Creek Striders web site accepts payment by Visa and MasterCard credit cards only.

Payment Policy


Due to Dubai Creek Striders being a not-for-profit organisation operating at cost only, we, unfortunately, must collect payment for goods or services sold, in advance upon placement of orders.

All fees are due immediately and are non-refundable, except as otherwise expressly noted in one or more of the below sections. We reserve the right not to accept payment by cheque or cash.

In the event of a chargeback by a credit card company or similar action by another payment provider allowed by us, or other non-payment by you in connection with goods or services, you acknowledge and agree that the goods or services for which such fee has not been paid may be suspended, cancelled or terminated, at Dubai Creek Striders’ sole discretion.

Making a Contract with Us


When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will confirm that we have received your order (Order Confirmation). The Order Confirmation is an acknowledgement that we have received your order and does not confirm acceptance of your offer to buy the product(s) ordered. We only accept your offer and conclude the contract of sale for a product ordered by you, when we dispatch/hand over the product to you.

Please note that we sell products only in quantities which correspond to the typical needs of an average household. This applies both to the number of products ordered within a single order and the placing of several orders for the same product where the individual orders comprise a quantity typical for a normal household.

In the unlikely event that the goods are not available, we will refund your payment. In the event that we have made a pricing mistake, we will advise you of this and you will have the right to cancel your order.



Your purchases will be made available to you at no additional costs either:

  • via this web site by printing purchased tickets
  • OR will be handed over to you in person at the times and places communicated to you through the usual Dubai Creek Striders communication channels (this web site, e-mail, Facebook, Twitter, etc.).

If the goods are lost or damaged in transit, please let us know promptly, so that we can make a claim against the carriers. We will offer you the choice of a replacement (if available at that time) or a full refund.

Delays in Shipping


On occasion, we may experience an unforeseen delay in the delivery of your order. In such a case, you will be notified through the usual Dubai Creek Striders communication channels (this web site, e-mail, Facebook, Twitter, etc.). When delayed shipments become ready to be delivered you will be notified through the usual Dubai Creek Striders communication channels (this web site, e-mail, Facebook, Twitter, etc.). Dubai Creek Striders is not responsible for any purported costs or damages incurred from a delay in the shipment of goods and shall not provide refunds as a consequence.

Cancellation, Returns and Refunds


Due to Dubai Creek Striders being a not-for-profit organisation operating at cost only, cancellation of orders is unfortunately not possible. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault, for example, if goods are faulty or wrongly described. In the case that goods delivered to you are faulty, you may request for a refund. In this case, you must return the goods to us at your own expense. You are responsible for the risk of loss or damage when you return goods. Refunds will be processed through the original mode of payment.

If you fail to return the goods, you will not be entitled to a refund. You will also not be entitled to a refund if you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration.

This agreement, and any dispute, controversy, proceedings or claim of whatever nature arising out of or in any way relating to this agreement or its formation (including any non-contractual obligations, disputes or claims), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with DIFC law.

The parties to this agreement submit all their disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the DIFC.”

We reserve the right to make changes to our website, policies, and terms and conditions, including these Conditions of Sale at any time and without formal notification. You will be subject to the terms and conditions, policies and Conditions of Sale in force at the time that you order products from us, unless any change to those terms and conditions, policies or these Conditions of Sale is required to be made by law or government authority (in which case it may apply to orders previously placed by you). If any of these Conditions of Sale is deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.
