About me:

Never thought there was ever a runner in me. It had always been about active sports until a dear friend let the running bug into me. The Friday social runs are an amazing way to enjoy running as an activity, with so many friends running along, with abundant chatter and banter. And actually in no time, I had run 15 marathons, and several half marathons, and all those 10K runs in between. And more than the running, it equally about all those running buddies, great friends that all those runners have become.

Running has liberated me in many ways and I have found a friend in every runner.  That’ll be pretty much true for every runner who runs with DCS.

Everyone in the group is so supportive of him and he really looks up to the Friday runs with full motivation, all thanks to DCS and its amazing striders.

There is something magical about running; after a certain distance, it transcends the body. Then a bit further, it transcends the mind. A bit further yet, and what you have before you, laid bare, is the soul.”

Every time I run it's with the mindset that if I die at this race, it's OK."

I run because if I didn’t, I’d be sluggish and glum and spend too much time on the couch. I run to breathe the fresh air. I run to explore. I run to escape the ordinary. I run…to savor the trip along the way. Life becomes a little more vibrant, a little more intense. I like that.”

The world is actually full of challenges and we need to challenge ourselves. I took a challenge to run that fast. It consumes a lot of energy especially mentally. But I took myself and accepted to be challenged and I challenged the time.”
